A Message from Our Principal

Dear Brentwood Middle Parents, 

We began our week with a wonderful turnout for our Parent University. Our sessions on the PSAT, Digital Safety, Executive Functioning, Resiliency, and Skyward/ Schoology were extremely helpful sessions for our parents and ultimately our students.

Our post seasons for the early fall seasons came to a close. I want to say a special congratulations to the tennis team for placing second in the WMAA tournament. Our cross-country team competed well at the state meet this weekend. Our golf and volleyball also finished with strong finishes this week.

I want to congratulate our chorus, orchestra, and band programs on a great set of performances on Thursday night. It is incredible to see how many students performed in each of these programs. I was also in awe of the number of students who have learned to play an additional instrument as our jazz band made its debut for the first time in a decade. I want to say a special congratulations to our BMS Orchestra who have been invited to play for the second time at the TMEA conference in January and a special thanks to our BMS Band and cheerleaders bringing an extra level of cheer to Lipscomb Elementary School on this past Friday at their pep rally!

This week we are finishing up the nine weeks. Grades will be published the week after fall break. We also have Picture Day on Tuesday, October 6 and one more round of parent teacher conferences this Thursday afternoon/ evening on Thursday, October 8 for those parents who signed up for a conference. We are excited about finishing strong this week as we look forward to fall break.
